Sparks is being discontinued.
Kinda.

MillerCoors has been sued and ordered to drop caffeine and all the other energy crap from Sparks. And do a bunch of other really ridiculous stuff like “stop using images that target underaged drinkers like bright orange tongues” .. okay. I didn’t realize that targets the young ones, but sure. Basically, the government is, again, telling everyone what to do instead of participating in good ol fashioned laissez faire. A pain in the ass for those of us who are of legal drinking age and smart enough to make our own decisions with out the governments input.

I thought this quote was just fucking hilarious

A recently published study found that college students who mix alcohol and energy drinks were more likely to be hurt, sexually assaulted or drive drunk than those who only drank alcohol. In addition, college students who reported drinking alcohol mixed with energy drinks engage in increased heavy episodic drinking and have twice as many episodes of weekly drunkenness.

For the record, I still plan on getting drunk weekly. Even bi-weekly at times.
