Over the past year I’ve had the amazing pleasure of getting to know one of the most creative & innovative musical acts in LA. Hypercrush is the name. The group consists of three hard hitters; Donny Fontaine, lead vocals, Holly Valentine, vocals, and Preston Meroni, DJ and keytarist.

I will never forget the first time I saw them perform, which was a week after the first time I ever saw Donny. I saw him, grabbed my friend and said, “Oh my god. Who is that? I need to know him”. Trust me, those striking good looks and 1950’s malt shop style can make any girl weak in the knees.

All their songs are perfect to get the party started; a unique combination of electro and hip hop, and colliding the worlds of the 80s and the 50s.

Hypercrush has been on tour for several months around the US, but on Friday night they will be performing at Kress. The event will be hosted by BJCevents, a major component that got Hypercrush off the ground. If you would like to attend this amazing party night let me know so I can get you on the guestlist!
